FunnelFox Billing supports payment orchestration to give you flexibility and control over your payment infrastructure. Configure custom routing rules to maximize payment success and minimize costs across all your payment processors.

How it works

Payment orchestration lets you route your transactions across multiple like Stripe, Checkout.com, and Adyen based on rules you define. This reduces payment failures and protects your revenue during processor outages or technical issues. You optimize costs and improve reliability without complex engineering work. FunnelFox Billing supports multiple routing logics:
  • Geographic routing: Route payments based on customer location (e.g., US customers through Stripe US account, EU customers through Stripe EU account, another location through Checkout.com, etc.).
  • Segment-based routing: Route payments between PSPs based on customer segments.
  • Load balancing: Distribute payment volume across processors (e.g., 50/50 split between Stripe and Adyen).
Orchestration also provides payment cascading to automatically route failed payments to backup processors, which works great together with smart retry schedules.

Setup

Payment orchestration is configured per organization based on your connected payment processors and business requirements. Contact your Solutions manager to set up orchestration for your account. They will build your payment flow based on your PSPs and routing needs.
